Most of us are probably more informed than ever before about our health and well-being, so why is it that once we approach mid-life pesky little wellness cracks start to appear? Whether it be poor sleep, a lack of energy, little or no lust for life, sneaky weight gain, dull skin yad, yada, yada, most of us will suffer with something at some point in time.
I created Wellness Matters to work with clients, just like you , and take a good honest look at your reality and identify the right solutions to support you in the achievement of your Nutrition & Wellness goals.
This can be done in whichever way is going to be most effective for you. Either through the inspiration provided by attending a Wellness Matters Retreat, through the individual support that a Wellness Matters Coaching Package provides, or by attending a Wellness Matters Workshop to give you a deeper understanding of a particular topic.
The best time to invest in your Nutrition & Wellness was yesterday, the next best time is now.
Whatever it is, we're in this together.
and I created Wellness Matters to inform and inspire you to take charge of your own wellbeing and extend your health span in line with your ever increasing life span.
It's not that long ago that I was blindsided with by a diagnosis of being pre diabetic. All I could think was how on earth was this possible? Physically I was in pretty good shape; running three times a week, cycling to and from work and having green smoothies for lunch every day – I was doing everything right, right?
Yes and no. Although I was ticking lots of the right boxes, I was simultaneously ticking just as many wrong boxes. I now know that a lack of understanding about the different aspects of well-being and how they all work together, had led to me to be inadvertently jeopardising my own wellness.
Enough said. This was all the inspiration I needed. I immediately started doing my research. I overhauled my nutrition, edited my physical activity, changed my daily habits, and took the opportunity to study and qualify as a Certified Nutrition & Wellness Coach.
My own wellness experience has seen me transition from a dedicated corporate professional into a painfully enthusiastic advocate of anyone and everyone optimizing their wellbeing and living their best life.

I've been a total teapot for most of my life - I'm talking good, strong builder's tea, the sort that you can stand your spoon up in. That said, I've recently weaned myself off and I’m now more of a decaf oat milk cappuccino kinda gal. It was time for the caffeine and the dairy in the tea to go.
Pivot! Pivot! PIVOT! When you know, you know!
Winkleman for me very time! I know that her fringe annoys some people, but I adore her wit, her intellect, her charm and the fact that she doesn't take herself too seriously. Plus, she loves a good nap...a girl after my own heart. Bravo.
These days it has to be my Ninja soup maker and my Magimix Cuisine 4200. I do still cherish my beloved Nutribullet, but a more plant-based diet requires some serious chopping, shredding and mixing, and the classic smoothie maker wasn’t quite cutting it, literally.
Autumn. Hands down. I'm lucky enough to live in Switzerland and the seasons here are well defined. Whilst I adore the anticipation of snow, and the deafening silence of snow, there's something deeply magical and comforting about Autumn that no other season can match.
